Kulusevski has settled in immediately, Bentancur looks decent so far and Romero has looked world class on occasions. As for the others, Spurs can't compete with Liverpool etc - see Diaz so they have to take punts on players like Gil, Royal etc and hope they become the next big thing. Rarely happens though.
It's the same core of rubbish players that we're still stuck with until at least the summer, Winks is absolutely appalling, Højbjerg seems to have some mental fog going on - probably from having to play with Winks all the time. We look so much better with Skipp which is unbelievable given he's got very little PL experience.
Conte wouldn't have come unless there was promises of significant funding, it's why he walked from Inter after winning the league, so it's going to be an important summer. If there's no significant overhaul it's going to be the same **** again next season. Maybe a performance coach to sort their heads out because I've never seen a group of players more rattled by the slightest bit of pressure. How can you win at Man City, get ****housed by Burnley, thrash Leeds and then get battered by a mid-table Championship team. It's utterly bewildering.
Man Utd are something else though. How a team can sign Verane, Sancho and Ronaldo and look worse is beyond me. At least most of their fans saw some success, I've had **** all as a Spurs fan and despite being patient I am starting to lose faith in the club/ownership. Nice stadium though.
