Anyone gave this a gander yet?

Aired on Channel 4 a fair few months back but Netflix got hold of it recently.

Binged it all on Saturday morning and have to say, very good! The two leads are just fantastic, Alex Lawther in particular has got one hell of a career ahead of him. Just has to be careful he doesn't get typecast as the 'nutter' in everything.

Would recommend!
 
Watched it when 4 aired it and the rest on 4od, enjoyed it but it seems like no one talked about it anywhere until Netflix picked it up and now it's the latest and greatest show.
 
Eh, so long as it doesn't go unnoticed I don't really see an issue with it. Should have made a thread about it back then if you wanted people to take notice ;P
 
I don't mean on here but places like Reddit it's this months show now everyone has moved on from Dark.

I hope it gets a second season even if it means Netflix pick it up directly.
 
I haven't watched it myself. But the fact that it went unnoticed until Netflix picked it up really does highlight how viewing habits have changed now. Even my kids consider watching normal TV old fashioned and for old people. They would far rather find something on. Netflix or amazon. He only time my son uses the TV in the living room is because it plays YouTube bigger than his iPad.
 
It's the first time I've seen Channel 4 do this, they aired the first episode then put the rest on 4od and didn't air the remaining episodes on normal TV.

Nahhhhhhh

I really don't think it needs it. The character arcs where perfect and the ambiguity as to whether he actually does get shot is fantastic. I just don't know what they could possibly do with a second season.
 
Great show

As above some really good acting from both leads, looking forward to them doing more and more stuff (as long as its not period dramas they just suck 99% of the time.
