LOL, Robinson just got smacked by the #11.
you parents out of wedlock birth! @Sankari jinxed that. but yes good start, and good stumping there by Carey.
Dropping him now in he middle of the a big series would knock his confidence. He's only 25 and he's improving slowly with every game. If he can face down and hold his own against an Australian attack then really other then India in India I can't see him struggling against anyone else going forwards.Half a job Crawley yet again.
He'll never deliver the big scores.

Anyway 145-1, pretty good response so far, Duckett and Pope going along quite nicely and I'm expecting a big innings from Root (there's no way he's going to want let Smith out score him). I was concerned yesterday with the lack of wickets from Anderson and Broad, green grassy pitch, new ball, overcast those are ideal conditions for swing bowlers yet they both struggled, thank god young Tongue had he viciousness to take to the Aussie's otherwise we would be looking at 500+.
If we keep going at the rate were going we'll sail pass 300 by the end of tonight. Were 183 with 34 overs left scoring at a rate of 4.98 an over. 34*4.98=169+183=352indeed and these scores of 40-70 are a huge step up from what we've had in recent years since Strauss left. Great first half of hte day for England, yes conditions have been better but the team have shown a lot more intent today. Hopefully can kick on and push toward 300 tonight with the run rate they're knocking it round at currently.
when I duck my hands aren't up a foot above my head!He ducked it!
