The England Cricket Thread

Maybe not then. I really do think England need to continue the pace Crawley set if they're going to have a chance of winning given the weather due, not just over the weekend but possibly tomorrow too.
It's a conundrum. You need to play to the weather to an extent, but equally you can't play assuming that you'll lose two days of play. We have to win this match. Given the pitch the best way of doing that will be to get to 200 plus ahead by lunch tomorrow and use all of the remaining time we have to run at Aus and try not to bat again.

That's a HORRIBLE way to get out.

The fact that we have to win to keep our chances alive means you've got to (within reason) play for the worst scenario weather wise.

And yea, that was a horrible way to get out but also an encouraging sign for us. Any sort of lead around the 200 mark could be enough if the pitch starts playing games.

Someone tell me what bazball is please? I've read articles on it where they waffle around the subject and don't really explain what it is. I hear it referred to all the time. Only recently got back into watching the cricket and been out of the loop.
Thought they played well England, especially with the early wicket going to come back strongly and patiently.

Oof, that was tragic. Our bowling had all the fire and aggression of a semolina pudding. Incredible batting by England, pretty safe to say they've smashed us out of this game and the next one already.
Probably overly harsh, if Crawley hadn't signed a deal with the devil and got caught off one of those knicks or edges early it would have been a very different score right now.
