The essential things to keep in your boot?

What do you feel is appropriate to keep in your boot? I've gone down:

Map
Torch
Blanket
Head gasket

Anything else to add?

- Stock spare wheel & jack under carpet

Erm whats with having a headgasket handy? Not really a side of the road repair that

Hi-Vis vest, Torch, Fire Extinguisher (mines in the boot, intend to buy a smaller one to fit in the cabin at some point too), Road Atlas. Suppose I should get some other bits too at some point.

Nothing. Rear is completely stripped out for track work.

No rear seats, no spare wheel, no jack, no tools, no boot floor, no carpet.....saves about 25 kg.

What do you do when you brake down or get a flat on while on your travels?

Surely you should have that stuff in tha car and just take it out at track day?

And it all fits nicely in the boot where the 7 seat conversion would fold away under the floor (if it were installed)

When i go visit the girlfriend i normaly have 3 3litre bottles in the back of the car
