So, does the EVGA high flow bracket really make a difference? And if so, why haven't the other manufacturers just changed the design of theirs? As far as I can see the holes are just bigger with thinner inbetween bars, not exactly rocket science? But does it really make a difference? Arguably gives better airflow but with less pressure (assuming fan is stock Nvidia fan and speeds)

Wondering wheter to get a EVGA SC Sig 680 or a cheaper other brand and just clock it to the same speed (and save 40quid :) )

I have retrofitted one to my gtx 570 and i noticed that the temps didnt climb as quickly and also didnt peak as high as before , but tbh dropping 4 or so degrees off the peak temps of 70 ish is a small percentage for the hassle of getting one ( got mine from american online auction site ) .
