The Evolution of Football Rules

Hi,

I`m looking for a site or information on football rules and in particular, the year they were introduced.

I`m specifically looking for the "Denying a goal scoring oppurtunity" requirement for an automatic red card and also the offside rule.

Also the year when pass backs were disallowed etc.

Anyone know where i might find this info?

1996 I think. Hence why there were an insane amount of indirect free kicks in the Euro's.
