Oh man this is the type of sequelThat is going to be extremely difficult to pullOff in 2023. It’s just a such a different time and culture as compared to whenThe original came out. This trailer didn’t draw me in at all but I hope it’s worth watching

Maybe if they stick a cross up a vegan it might still have some shock value.

Well that trailer was all kinds of 'meh'. OOh we got her projecting a different voice, a cross on her head, and she's eating pages. Takes a lot more these days to scare people and recycling the same exorcism tropes isn't gonna do it.

When you have movies like Saw and things like that, it just makes movies like this look incredibly tame.

The original gave me absolute nightmares when I was little. Could not sleep in the dark for weeks. Tbh I am still too scared to watch the trailers even now.

I remember reading the book when it first came out, I was 14. I mostly used to read when I went to bed and as luck would have it, not long after I started it some birds moved into the attic above my room - to say the noises added to the atmosphere would be a huge understatement - I was bloody terrified.
