Whizzed through this series, brilliant, just watched the final episode and i didn't realise it was the final one

thought there was a lot more to go

although i really enjoyed it, the ending was disappointing, thought we might see more of the other side and what happens with drummer and the alliance

Yup, that’s it for the series unfortunately. The series roughly cover a book each but between book 6 and 7 there’s a big time jump - 30 or 40 years IIRC. So they’d either need to change actors or age the current ones but it seems they didn’t want to spend the money.

I did find it weird the series started the Laconia storyline in the last season given they were never going to be able to wrap it up. When they could have left it out the series and not lost anything.

But hopefully in 20 - 30 years they could get the actors back to finish the series. Though I imagine it’s probably more wishful thinking than a possibility.
