Telltale returns from the dead and is tackling another big sci-fi IP: The Expanse. Check out our hands-on impressions of the first episode of Telltale's latest licensed adventure game.

Looks to be an Epic exclusive.

peaking my interes at least being a fan of the Expanse, what do you think?

It'll be absolutely awful.

The series was great though, more so the earlier ones.

I agree the early series were better, but it was also new and differant.

its good seeing TellTail doing a new game, it could be a make or break for them though after such a longe time.

there's certainly lots of scope to explorer in the exanse world. i think if fans of the show are running the project the enthusiasum i hope come through.
time tells all, and helps us forget abominations, lets hope its not the latter, but plan for the worst

Why will it be 'awful'? I enjoy the TT games - finished all The Walking Dead and also played Batman and GoG.

Looks crap, the camera is "fixed" like there's an invisible selfie stick attached to the backside of the character and they walk like they are first generation tethered Honda robots. The lip sync is off and the overall look of the models is way too smooth like playdoh. The universe of the Expanse is gritty and full of detail, this has none of those.

As an Expanse fan, this does not look like it does the saga justice.

on epic it looks like £31.69 for base game
or
£35.69 for the base game and expansions
if i read it right.
i was trying to remember if there previous games includ individual episodes and i think one of them did.
but for £5 more i would just go for the delux with expansion/episodes included.
