The population of the FALKLANDS aren't native. The British put them there. You cannot fill islands with your own citizens and then claim you have consensus from the population. We have no more legitimacy in the South Atlantic then the Turks do in Nortrhern Cyprus. How about home-rule for the Falklands.

Iam surprised spain hasn't been vocally in support of argentinas claims considering their own efforts with gibralta although spains actions have been much more peaceful and political and the whole matter dealt with in a much more reasonable way.
I keep passing over this thread and reading it as "Vuvuzela Threatens Britain..." :/
10,000 people blowing those on a March in London would be more of a threat to the UK then anything coming from a South American banana republic. The only threat that any of them possess is hot air.
I wouldn't be so sure, I don't think it's a good diea to establish negative political relations with Brazil (which is an economic powerhouse at present - on the up and up).
They're certainly getting there but GDP per head is low and still have massive social issues to overcome but they have been up and coming for a long long time. There's even a large population of Chinese / Japanese in Brazil because it was viewed to be the new economic power house 40 years ago
But I agree and that's why there were some trade missions, sorry aid donations not so long back
Brazil is a country of extremes. There is a lot of poverty but also some serious wealth.
The strength of their currency against the pound has effective doubled in 5 years![]()
