Never heard of or seen the original TV show. Premise of the show and the film doesn't really sound that interesting and it's far too much (bad) comedy for me, based on the trailer.

I'm 45. I mean according to wikipedia it's in the same time frame as Knight Rider, The A-team, Dukes of Hazzard, T.J Hooker and many others I used to watch.

I guess it was on ITV but honestly it doesn't ring the slightest bell, and the youtube video didn't help!
