Is there no way around this? I tired 10.5 Beta 9 and it was crashing so went back to the 10.4 version.

I do not want to create a new library so will I have to just use the beta or is there anything I can alter?

Cheers

I had a library shared between computers and its inevitable if one of the computers upgraded to the latest version and another didn't.

From another forum: I had this problem when upgrading the iTunes software! the solution was to rename "library.itl" to library.old and then start iTunes.

Might lose some info when you do that like playcount and rating.
