The first 8K game for consoles comes to PS5?

The Touryst has become the first game on the PS5 or any console to support 8k output and it actually runs at 8k 60fps

BTW this is important.

Of course, there's a slight problem here in that PlayStation 5 does not support 8K output via HDMI 2.1, despite proudly displaying an 8K logo on the box.

But if the capability is there, why not? They haven't sacrificed anything to get to 8K60. Future proofing is always good.

I suspect it may be possible with an update but it's not currently available. It's a bit naughty, it's like advertising on the box you can add your own SSD before the actual update to enable that happened.
