The First Album You Bought

Michael Jackson - Dangerous, I think though that was via my parents.

One I actually bought myself was probably Fat Boy Slim - You’ve Come a Long Way Baby or Manic Street Preachers - Everything Must Go. I didn’t really get into music properly until late, hence the few years gap.

Same for me with Dangerous and You've Come a Long Way Baby. I'm 40 next year. Seems like a lifetime ago going to buy singles and abums from Woolworths. Remember taking my mum to get Fat of The Land for me :D
 
First singles I remember getting from my mum were Musical youth Pass the Dutchie, and Eye of the tiger.

First albums I started buying myself were probably Electros. Used to love going to the record shop in our town.

When I was a kid something by Abba, as a teenager the first LP I really got into was Parallel Lines by Blondie was seriously obsessed by that album and still holds up very well today
