The Force Unleashed - No PC?

Hey all,

I've been looking forward to the new Star Wars game, The Force Unleashed, but after taking another look at it today - catching up with the latest at GDC 08 - I have found little evidence of it coming to the PC.

Does anyone know if The Force Unleashed is coming to the PC? I've been looking forward to it for so long thinking it's coming to the PC

Couldn't see any definite info on their site, but from what's been scraped together into the wikipedia entry it isn't being developed for the PC (PS3, X360, Wii, PS2, PSP, DS, N-Gage (?!))

In a more than probable, horribly ported sorta way which still tells you to press A or X with the respective button symbol shown on the screen when telling you how to do stuff.

This is actually making me think of getting a PS3, added with the Blue-Ray winning the latest Format war...

That's a shame really... I enjoyed the jedi knight series so much, I was hoping this was going to be the next great star wars game. I'm sure it'll be fun on the console but I feel the controls just give themselves so well on the PC.

Yep & then it does not sell well because of the crap port & that most have already played it on the console & will not buy it again for the PC.
If they want to see any worth while sales of PC games then they have to release it at the same time or as close as the console version as many people just wont wait for the PC version.

I may have to buy a ps3 now... How come it is being released on both the ps2 and ps3? seems.... odd.

Why would you want it on PC anyways when it's on the Wii? (Assuming you have a wii of course)

PS2 still has a massive user base so it makes sense.

its no doubt just going to be waggling the mote and not 1-1 swordplay

e.g. wii sports (pretty decent use of wii mote) > sega superstars tennis (waggle like pretty much all the other wii games)

Looks pretty good, I'm sure it will be ported to the PC eventually, probably a bad conversion based on the PS2 version or something, but still.
