Just got a copy of this album and i cannot stop playing it, a rather good album, they manage to keep there own unique sound the complete way through, just wondering what others thing to it?

I've not heard the album yet, but of the 3 or 4 songs I have heard by them, I think they're friggin awful. Horrible, clunky, trying to be socially observant a la Arctic Monkeys, completely immemorable in my opinion.

I'm picking it up today, I loved the singles so the album better be more of the same.

Same as Tru. Singles were all great and I'm ordering the album as soon as pay day rolls around. :)

Anyone else find themselves thinking of Supergrass playing in a prohibition era Chicago speakeasy when they listen to the Fratellis?
Probably just me :o

Seen them a couple of times and I loved them, singles were great too. Pretty let down by the album though... :/

Creepin' up the backstairs is a rubbish song and worst on the album in my opinion but Henrietta and Chelsea Dagger are probably the strongest. There are a couple of other rubbish tracks but its a fairly strong album overall. There are a few slower tracks which are pretty cool. A lot better than some of the new indie bands.

Saw them live a few months ago and they were great fun to watch. Although they had only released one song.

I really like Creepin to be honest, i've had it absolutely ages as it was one of the first songs I've heard from them. The only thing is, I don't like the way it has been produced on the album version. I had a demo version of it, which i much prefer to the album version :( It's lost some of its energy tbh.

I love The Fratellis, ace band

I like them because they are better than any other **** out at the moment apart from The Zutons

You can keep your Keanes, Razorlights and Snow Patrols all whiny ****ing nonesense

Well I went to see them off the back of Creepin' only but now that i've heard Henrietta and CD and the rest of the album it got boring pretty quick. It's just not my kind of song. I agree the first version was better though. Plus Gutterati isn't on the album and I thought that was pretty good.

Wel Keane's album is one of the most disappointing albums ever. And Razorlight are so arrogant it's actually funny because they have absolutely nothing to be arrogant about.

Hadn't heard of them before yesterday until a friend told me about them. What kind of sound do Fratelis work with? Just looked on their site but I can't get the previews to play. Would like to listen to them before I buy the album so I can see if I would like it or not.

Having hated their single I overlooked them, but someone on these boards reccomended "Whistle For the Choir" and it's great. I've given their album a listen on iTunes and I think I might buy it.
