It has no real future, it's nearly dead in the water save for a handful of decent games.

Yea it's nice to see that some developers are still putting effort into PC games. Sadly we've lost a lot of good companies both to consoles and to being bought out then shut down a year later.

I think the next year or two in PC gaming is going to get very interesting, developers are catching up on PC hardware and really pushing it to its limits, don't be surprised if you see a few of them do a Crytek on it where no PC today can play their games on max settings, personally I love that as it means not only does their game look great on playable settings today but when you upgrade in a year or two it'll look even better.
