Well it is according to this blog on some one who is working with a beta of SP1 for vista. The whole paragraph reads

"Do I recommend Windows Vista? Not a snowball’s chance in… I’m waiting on Apple to release Mac OS X Leopard. As far as I’m concerned at this point, Microsoft is taking a huge hit. The future of Windows, in my opinion, is inside a Virtual Machine or BootCamp on a Mac."

To be honest I lost faith in the guys impartiality when I saw him doing his video podcast with a Macbook Pro clearly visible...

Should have posted this in the Windows section.. that would have been funny!

Might be worth pointing out, that some versions of Vista aren't allowed to run in a virtual machine because it violates the EULA.

Probably a backhand effort on the part of Microsoft to make sure any OS X users have to get a more expensive version, who knows.
