Well it is according to this blog on some one who is working with a beta of SP1 for vista. The whole paragraph reads

"Do I recommend Windows Vista? Not a snowball’s chance in… I’m waiting on Apple to release Mac OS X Leopard. As far as I’m concerned at this point, Microsoft is taking a huge hit. The future of Windows, in my opinion, is inside a Virtual Machine or BootCamp on a Mac."

Roll on the Mac :) :D
 
To be honest I lost faith in the guys impartiality when I saw him doing his video podcast with a Macbook Pro clearly visible... :(
 
Should have posted this in the Windows section.. that would have been funny! :D

Might be worth pointing out, that some versions of Vista aren't allowed to run in a virtual machine because it violates the EULA.

Probably a backhand effort on the part of Microsoft to make sure any OS X users have to get a more expensive version, who knows.
