Is there a graphics card decibel rating list anywhere on the web? that would be interesting, to me anyway :)

You could then compare them to this list which i've just found:

10dBA - Normal Breathing
20dBA - Mosquito or Rustling Leaves
30dBA - A Whisper
40dBA - A Bubbling Brook, or a Refridgerator
50dBA - Normal Conversation
60dBA - Laugher
70dBA - Vaccuum Cleaner or Hairdryer
80dBA - City Traffic or a Garbage Disposal
90dBA - Motorcycle or Lawnmower
