I've got my sim card from them. Only downside is there is no 3g signal where I live:mad: Still,for £10 a month I complain really.

I recomend the £5 goodiebag (The labs one), amazingly i have finished the month with more mins then i started with from ppl calling me !

Yeah since there is free internet until 28th Feb, it makes sense to use the £5 goodie bag is you aren't too heavy a user. then get the £10 one when they drop the free internet.

What speeds are people getting with Giffgaff considering they are on the O2 network which is generally overcrowded.

I've haven't seen anyone on GiffGaff get some of the reported speeds i've heard about people getting on T-Mobile.

I was just looking at their offers, when they list Unlimited Text and Net, is that like 3's actual unlimited or is their some fair use policy? I had a look around their site but couldnt find an answer.

It is completely unlimited with no fair use policy. Sign up and consume. Enjoy it while it lasts, as at some point if everyone does it, they will have to introduce a FUP.

@koolpc - cheers buddy.

@maun - give james_n's link a try since someone has clicked mine. Let's try and share this out.

Is unlimited really unlimited?
The answer is yes, we are unlimited for personal mobile use - but not for commercial and automated use. Mobile Internet allowances exclude PC use and tethering.

Taken from here.... http://giffgaff.com/index/pricing

Unlimited means unlimited on the giffgaff goodybags ...no tethering though!

been with o2 since BT Genie days (eek 11 years!) and now its time to move to a more cost effective plan that is giffgaff. Currently on iphone simplicity 20 with iphone4 and today requested a PAC to move to giffgaff

will save me a packet too.

well recommended!
