Really is there any need? The orginal is great, and I can't see the need for a Hollywood version. Will they give it a rest!

Yeah I saw this a few months ago. The trailer does look good, but no idea why there are two releases so close to each other.
The one already released was a good trilogy.

I found the original film average, and the two sequels rather poor. There's some talk that the US version is actually better. The problem with the Swedish versions is that they didn't seem to have any character or feel: just a steady film of the book. While the change of medium can ruin, here it just seemed to be wasted. Rapace was brilliant, but everyone else, including (especially) the director, seemed to be working by numbers.

I'll give it ago. But the orginals are great. Although i have the English dubbed ones. Still haven't got round to watching the final part.
