The Grand Tour

I have had the feeling throughout the whole series so far of waiting for it to start. It feels like a bit of a shadow of what Top Gear was a few years back. I can't really work out where they spent all that money? Why haven't they driven off somewhere in beaten up old cars they can hardly work? The beach buggy this was an attempt but it just felt a bit hollow. That's how I would describe the whole series really, a bit hollow.

I'm on Episode 12 now and I'm in the swing of it again, I am even starting to appreciate the ironic humour of the American and the celebrities blowing up.

more like moronic in regards to the yank, detest that breast beast, the ***** on jame's wheal knob just to show that he carnt use the **** (male chicken) word

The celebrity thing is mainly because the BBC threw their toys out of the pram and said doing it would make the show to similar to Top Gear. Not like it isn't already, it's basically the replacement.

episode 13 is up, Past V's Future

The Grand Tour tent is in Dubai for the final show of the season in which Jeremy Clarkson pits his old fashioned Volkswagen Golf GTI against James May's electrically powered BMW i3, Richard Hammond learns how to drift, James is forced to take part in a weird sport called winching, and the Bugatti Veyron drag races against the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Best saved until last for sure. Cried myself laughing at the Winchers segment, and the rest of the segments were excellent as well. I loved the drifting one too.

Need to become a driving god now :p

From reddit: "The car in the film actually belongs to one of the ruling family members of Dubai. It has GTR engine and drive train that was fitted by Nissan in Japan and brought here. Then it was modified further to produce 1900 hp."
