Was rooting around on my HD and came across a list of these I made but don't think I ever posted, (if I did but just forgot - you get the joy of doing them again!). So go get 'em.

Usual rules apply:
Belmit said:
The idea is to work out the original lyric, the song it's from, and the artist. Full credit only goes to an answer that gives all three.

1) I grasped at the fire that sprung forth from thine boots whilst averting your gaze unto mine.
"I was catching the sparks that flew from your heels, And trying to catch your eye" - Somewhere Else - Razorlight - Belmit

2) I doth traverse from east to west to stare upon the jigging womenfolk.

3) I would surely not wish to be a wench here as they shalt not leave till daybreak.
"Glad i'm not a girl in this place, they'll be here til dawn." - Blinded By The Lights - The Streets - Gilly

4) This conundrum is unheard of and has not one indication of how we might solve it.
"This is a brand new problem, a problem without any clues" - Decent Days and Nights - The Futureheads - bungler

5) I once saw the illuminations of yuletide glinting from within thee.
"I've seen Christmas lights, reflect in your eyes." - Wires - Athlete - Belmit

6) Adjust thine posture to avoid the inferno and you shall come of age.

7) From here to the land of the west, the madness doth grow.

8) Awake! Find ye comb and don your rouge.
"Wake up, grab a brush and put a little makeup" - Chop Suey - System of a Down - sinister stu

9) I did return home at noon to discover a troublesome clamour.
"One day, when I came home at lunchtime, Heard a funny noise" - Year 3000 - Busted - 00bob00

10) In my eyes you are both eccentric and handsome
"You're strange and you're beautiful" - Strange and Beautiful - Aqualung - Belmit

11) We shall vary our habits and choose a differing causeway, then are adoration will rip us from one another.
"And we're changing our ways, taking different roads, then love, love will tear us apart again" - Love will tear us apart - Joy Division - xyphic

12) Father has the habit of shifting from here unto there, whilst tales of mother are often voiced by the crier.

13) I stand with one hand tucked inside my jerkin whilst the other merrily tickles the ivories.
"I've got one hand in my pocket And the other one is playing the piano" - Hand In My Pocket – Alanis Morrisette - 00bob00

14) I am suitably nauseated at the thought of your naked form.
"It makes me sick to think of you undressed" - Everyday I love You Less and Less – Kaiser Chiefs - 00bob00

15) Of late it has become clear that all is not as it once was – these strange goings on leave me bemused.

16) I shall not hesitate now that we are equal in stature!

17) We hail from regions of eternal winter, where the night time is bright and the ground doth bleed heat.
"We come from the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow" - Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin - Stephenm21

18) To arise each morn would be my first achievement, I shall not protest at my injured breast.

19) Throughout the globe and in the caverns of hell, the Lord shall bellow as I pound the earth.

20) I stand beneath your balcony – Ahoy my sibling, won’t you let me up?
"I'm standing out your window - Hey little sister, can I come inside, dear?" - Little Sister - Queens Of The Stone Age - bungler

21) T’was a different music man, T’was a different land.

22) As the mistress doth do her duty, I find myself blameworthy for I hath destroyed the body of Christ.

23) From the days of yore and the realm of Socrates!

24) Mother takes the greatest prudence with the upkeep of the homestead, it is said nothing can block her path.
"Our mum, she's so house-proud Nothing ever slows her down" - Our House - Madness - Belmit

25) Folk from all over know of the outcome for they hath observed it time and time again.
"Everyone seems to know the score, they’ve seen it all before" - Three Lions - Baddiel and Skinner - Belmit

I'm pretty sure I do have them, but they don't have the answers in. When I find them I'll just post them as .txt files for download.

12 down, 13 to go.

If it's any help I wrote these 6th August last year so they'll be nothing newer than that.

Some of the lyrics I derive from these clues are awesome, I get annoyed when they turn out to be completely wrong.

The bands left are, (in no particular order):

The Killers, Rage Against The Machine, Bloc Party, Outkast, Queens Of The Stone Age, Sting, Beastie Boys, The Futureheads, Eminem, Hendrix, New Order, Turin Brakes, Hundred Reasons.

No, not giving up, its just that apart from Sting, Eminem and Jimi all you have left is gay or simply crap :p
