Im sitting here right now at my computer - wondering what really is thee greatest trance tune ever??

Right now I think Solid Sessions - Janeiro (Armin Van Buuren remix) Is just unbelievbale - the lyrics are so amazing. So powerful. Just awesome :)!

Just wondering what other peoples opinions are??

I'm not a big fan of trance (although I do recognise most of those Gilly posted) but Motorcyle - As The Rush Comes is presently taking up an inordinate amount of time on my playlists.

I dont think I can single handedly put my hand on ONE track. Theres far too many. Over the past decade there have been some absolutely astonishing tracks made, far far too many for me to single out one.
Gillys list goes some way to identfying some of the most well known tracks of the decade.
 
I own the Classic Trance Nation compilation. I really recommend getting as it has about 80-90% of all these mentioned. It is a brilliant compilation, really boosted my interest in trance.

Yeah I used to listen to them quite a bit, I've been listening to Syntax, Gabriel & Dresden and some other similar ones more recently but you can't beat the classic trance masters - FSOL, The Orb, Orbital, Energy 52, Marmion, LSG, Three Drives, Medway, PVD, Laurant Garnier, Dr Motte, Speedy J, Salt Tank, Eat Static and another personal favourite HardFloor.
 
I know nothing about trance at all and it feels odd posting in a trance thread. However, my top three are
