It appears we've won some tickets to attend the greenbelt festival, which is predominantly a Christian gathering in Cheltenham this weekend.

Now I'm not in religous in the slightest and the idea of being around thousands of happy clappy Christians scares me, BUT the music line up looks quite good, should we go??????

I went a few times, back when I was a teenager. Yes it does have its more than its fair share of annoying bible bashers, but the majority of the people do appear to be there for the music, and for a bit of a **** up. It has the advantage of pretty much no chavs. And sundays you can get a really good lie in at the camping area when everyone else goes off for a service.

One of my ex-flatmates used to go to this I believe and always had a good time however he was both a Christian and used to pick up girls there so that might have coloured his judgement slightly.

I think as long as you don't go round proclaiming that Christianity is stupid then you'll be fine, I don't think it is motivated by trying to convert people, more a case of gathering together people who have something in common in terms of religion but really it will be mostly about the music from what I could tell.
