So it’s been confirmed that the PS3 version of UT3 will support keyboard and mouse. Is this yet another step on the road to a fully-fledged PC/Console (PCPS3 or PC360 if you like) or is this just a one off for this game??

Whats the percentage of 360/PS3 users that would use keyboard and mouse if that was an option for every game? Pretty small.

Not arguing with the point about another topic, but I'd be more swayed to get a console if there was a decent keyboard and mouse option *properly* supported.

I would love there to be a console that can be an alternative to the PC for decents fast paced online competitive gaming. This is something I personally want to see to progress.

Sorry if I did a re-post, should have looked through fist.

But the point is valid, how long before I give up the PC with all the upgrading that it requires and just buy a console / monitor / keyboard / mouse and not have to worry about if new games will run.

If both the PS3 and X box 360 go down this route then maybe a KVM switch as well.

PS2 version of UT1 supported keyboard and mouse.

PS1 supported keyboard and mouse, but couldent run an fps to save its life. If it could have run a good, new fps then i think that would have supported keyboard and mouse too.

Thats not where the line is being blurred, its the face UT3 is coming out on the PS3 not years after the PC version, and with support for user mods.
