Went for a wander down the Grove the other day with the camera, trying to replace some of the pictures I lost when my PC committed suicide. :(

Haven't done any photoshop trickery with them yet, any suggestions and/or comments appreciated. :)

I suspect the bottom two could do with some tweaking to the colour and contrast, but I wouldn't know where to start.

If the images are too big, let me know and I'll resize them further (they were set to 800x600 by Imageshack, but I'll re-upload them to be 640x480 if needs be).

Thanks

Don't take this the wrong way but those images are quite boring, the daisy is a simple just point it on that and take the picture and the others are just normal height down a path images. So constructive critisism, I think that the subject in the images could be a little more engaging somehow, if you'd have turned the head height photos down to floor level it could have posed a more interesting shot - experimentation doesn't cost anything with digital so go nuts.

Just keep shooting some photos and post them here, I don't want to put you off. You'll get better as you use the camera in different ways. :)

No worries, I won't. :p

Thanks for the criticisms, I'll keep them in mind next time. And I do have some more 'interesting' pics, but they're all at wierd angles etc...I'll post some tomorrow, maybe.

Anyway, thanks. :)

I didn't mean to crucify you in one fatal blow there, I get loads of critisism like that which I like sometimes in photography or my coursework lol.

Just post away all the photo's you like, i bet you'll see a great improvement as time passes (and that won't just be because the weather will be better and skies will be bluer) :)

Don't worry about it, constructive criticism is more helpful than any other sort of comment. This way, I can learn to be better, rather than get stuck taking the same pics over and over again. ;)

I had loads of good pics before my PC nuked itself, but tbh, most of them were flukes. I can go out and take 70 pics, and if I'm lucky, I'll get 10 nice ones. I should probably point out here that I'm using a basic Fuji digicam with only a 3x optical zoom, since I can't afford or justify stepping up to a £500 DSLR kit. :p

Here's more then:
