Mildly surprised anyone bought one of these cards. What are they like playing games at 1080?

I think these definitely sell. I wouldn't be surprised if these sell more than the Titan X. Just owners get much less of a e peen bulge showing these cards off. I was very tempted to get a 4G MSI 960 Gaming, very efficient cards.

Back on the 960 while waiting for Fury X RMA to complete.

Never fails to impress me this lil card. It can run BF4 on Ultra @ 1080P and maintain 60FPS. Max temp is around 60C, IDLE temp 25C. The 960's should get more love lol. Witcher 3 and Medium pre and high settings (Hairworks Off). Runs around 45 / 50 FPS and feels smooth. Very impressed tbh.

Quick 3DMark 11 run on latest Nvidia Drivers:

5820K @ 4.5Ghz.
GTX 960 @ 1500mhz.

They can run Grid Autosport maxed out @2160p pretty good too.:D

It's a strange card.

Beaten by the 760 and the 670 in a fair few of those games, but in others it pushes ahead. The margins of defeat or victory aren't always small, so it either gets spanked or it spanks.

I still think it's a disappointing card to be beaten in *anything* by a 760/670 tho. Plus you could never really get a warm glow as the owner of a 2GB 128 bit card in 2015 ;) :p :p

It is what it is and does it's job.:)

It will never blow your socks off but it won't disappoint either.:)

Even if you "upgraded" from a 760 or 670? Then found your new card was a lot slower in 50% of games?

There's such a gulf between this and the 970, that it really should have been called the 950. And another card at the 960 price point that performed a fair chunk better.

nV are currently making $$$ hand over fist, with super low end cards like this for mid-range prices.

OcUK have a whole lot of B-Grade KFA2 GTX960 cards for £119.99 now(after some prompting from me too) and I took the plunge and got one as a stop-gap upgrade from my GTX660. If I have the time I will do some comparisons when I get the card and have some time.

I did a few benchmarks now. However, the card killed itself during a session of PS2! I will need to RMA it now.

The system is as follows:
Xeon E3 1230 V2
16GB DDR3
B75 mini-ITX motherboard

I will be updating this post with more benchmarks during the day.
