Ok its not so much a question, its more like a puzzle, but still i have no idea (and people that i know) what the answer is.
Here goes:
3 men wanted to buy a tv together, so they went to a tv shop and found a tv for £30. So they each put in £10 to pay. They took the tv home.
Later on the manager of the shop came down and told the shop assistant that he had made a mistake and the tv he sold was not £30, it was meant to be £25. The manager told the shop assistant to go round to their house and give the £5 difference back. But on the way, the shop assistant decided he'd pocket £2 and give £3 back to the men (£1 each)
So in effect the men each paid £9 for the tv so 9 x 9 = £27
and the shop assistant pocketed £2, so
£27 + £2 = £29
Where did the other £1 go?!?!
