I love the Salad bar.. Im addicted to the stuff.

I think I have been to the Harvester about 10 times in the last 30 days.... far too much.

I can't get enough of that pink thousand Island dressing sauce they have together with that ( what I think is ) Crispy Bacon....

The point of this thread.

Does anyone know where you can purchase a sauce that is similar to the Harvester thousand Island dressing ..if indeed thats what it is... its the pink stuff!!!

And, those little tiny crispy thingies!!! is it bacon? what is it, can you get it in the Supermarket...

Im spending far too much dough in that place.. I would like to make my own salads at home essentially with these two products!!!!

isn't the crispy bacon stuff baco, some vegaterian bacon flavoured crispy thing.

Havester also have crispy onions.

Every supermarket will have thousand island sauce in the salad dressing section.
 
Indeed, all supermarkets have thousand island dressing, but last couple of times I went to Harvester they seem to be crispy onion bits and croutons rather than crispy bacon bits :mad:

I've see Schwartz bacon bits in the supermarket but not onion. And they weren't that cheap, to my disgust.
 
I haven't been since I had food poisoning there. I had some BBQ ribs.

I have never been so sick in my life.

That was the Longwell Green one acidhell. There are a few in Bristol though. One of them is heavily themed and is like a village but indoors. Fake houses, a river etc.

Haven't seen that one, Been to the cribbs causeway one loads of times but not for a few years, no problems. I luff that place bundles of meat with bbq sauce and then a free salad bar yummmii, must go again.

I think it's in Frenchay.
 
A couple of years ago there were vouchers on the back of packs of shredded wheat for £1 meals at Harvester. I was at Uni at the time so did the student thing and made sure to buy 2 or 3 boxes a week while the offer was on.
 
cant you make your own? its only ketchup, mayo, diced onions and peppers +- anything else you want to try. Add a few additives/preservatives and youve got the harvester sauce!

Intresting fact - Barracuda, Smith and Jones etc (another fast food on a plate chain pub) raspberry and mustard dressing contains no raspberry's
