Pulled over to check phone and BOOM i was fined for parking on double yellows. Traffic warden wondered up issuing me a ticket as i had pulled over.

Life seems so annoying right now. He even said he had given me a warning but in the video there was no such thing.

Little update, stopping in a bus stop to let people off or pick people up is a no no so i guess my bad.

you should see the appeal process. Takes 15 days for them to review the appeal. you can only submit 1 image. 14 days to pay the fine at half the price!!!

Is that a bus stop? He 'could' have asked you to move, but does he have to? You know you can't stop there right?

Is there any point appealing it? If you weren't supposed to park there then surely there is nothing to appeal as it will just get rejected?

How long does it take to check your phone anyway, stopped for a play on facebook?

yes its a bus stop i guess if i cant stop for a tiny amount of time my bad. never had an issue with wardens they normally say i cannot stop or move on. I was not causing an obscruction at all as there were no buses awaiting to go in

I can't imagine an appeal working out, but try it anyway...

But the reality is you just have been unlucky, you where in the wrong and got caught, blaming a traffic warden is not the thing to do..

Personally I always keep an eye out if I'm doing that kind of thing, but you didn't even spot the guy walking towards you for 30 seconds or so..

What video?

It's been removed, he was sat in the car parked in a bus stop when the traffic warden walks over, spends about 10 seconds right in front of the car taking pictures, then walks to the left and does some stuff out of frame & sticks a parking fine under his wiper, only then does the OP respond lol.

If you can't spot the warden then you definitely wouldn't have spotted a bus wanting to pull in behind. :p

no appeal will work i stopped in a bus stop and you cannot stop in them at all.

Yes you can, it depends on the restrictions posted just like any other road.

What is more, parkling is usually decriminalised in urban areas and enforced by Local Authority Civil Penalties rather than the Police/Traffic Wardens.

So you said you pulled over to check phone and boom. Then dropping soemone off at bus stop.

The way you worded it (warden wanderedup) suggests you were there quite a while.

If you park on yellows you gotta keep an eye out for the wardens.

Noob error...lol

Depends on the wardens i guess. Some are really easy going and some are massively 100% harsh. I know they are doing their job but this happens in all walks of life. Some are more strict than others.

I been to court over a Traffic Warden incident where 'she' lied, and the policeman, who appeared around the corner lied! It was all caught on 'her' camera!!! lol
