Use the "F" key for thirdperson view. Hold it to pan around and use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

I though so too as well but I noticed that I had to hold the print screen key for a few seconds then the message saying the screenshot was saved popped up.

This is a bit odd to be honest...
