Hiya, question. Ive been trying to download the Cinematicmod4 from the filefront location but every time it stops @ 2GB and upon extracting the file is corrupt?? I know its a 3GB download....do you know where i can get a good download for it please

Hehe...you just know that every page of this thread now is going to be screenshot after screenshot of Crysis.

Been playing the demo for a few hours yesterday, I have to say...I am very impressed, was running it with everything on Very High (except for PostProcessing, which I had set at medium because anything higher and the motion blur makes me feel sick after a while), 1280x1024 and its simply the best looking game I have ever seen. Stunning...

Ok..it plays a lot like Farcry, but as I loved that , that suits me

Two moments that really stood out for me, first was cutting a tree down with the machine gun (technically fantastic that you can cut down the foliage, and it not be a pre-defined thing where they break, but rather that they break at the actual spot you shoot at)...anyway, I digress...cutting the tree down and it fell and leant against a rock face, so I then shot at the fallen piece, cutting it a second time so that it fell to the ground.

And second, being trapped in a building, with 4 guys outside..turning on my cloak and sneaking outside past them, then watching as they actually formed up either side of the door in a kind of SWAT style room entrance maneouver and slowly crept inside. Was some nice AI, rather than them just milling around outside running in circles.

Overall, got to say...a definate purchase for me

Yeah, tell me about it. Just imagine, by the time the Geforce 9 series comes out we'll have graphics that compare to CGI movies, running at playable framerates!

It looks like it's on low settings... also judging by the frame rate

mostly on medium, shadows,post processing and shaders were on low at 1680x1050 with no aa, dips to about 20 fps in places but still quite playable, had to resize pics as i only have a basic photobucket account

Got it running a bit smoother since that screeny. CPU is at 3.15ghz and GFX at 659/960 and latest beta drivers.
