Why? The 800x600 thread is a good idea as it decreases load times a bit and doesn't mess with forum layout.

Why not just link to a bigger resolution of the image in the old 800x600 thread? I can see these pages taking forever to load if everyone starts posting 1900x1200 images.

Normally I cba to click anything and would rather scroll down and have a look at the pictures.

That's still possible in the 800x600 thread, but everything loads much faster and doesn't screw up the forum layout.

Then if you see a screenshot you like, it's not very hard to left click and see it in all it's glory.

They said too big in the other thread

and Ulfhedjinn, well mainly because when I resize my pictures to 800x600 it doesn't turn out right. Plus some others wanted a bigger thread so may aswell try.

ImageShack will even make them for you automatically if you want.

Maybe it's just me but about 90% of the time after clicking a thumbnail it takes ages for the full version to show up.

About the same length of time it takes to load a full-sized version from the same hosting server in the first place. :confused:

If you want good res pics - just link to them in the 800x600 thread >_>
