This game looks delicious. That 5 years old prototype showed promise, it is great they finished it. Hopeflly it will not disappoint.

it's not as bad as it looks tbh.

You have 3 bonuses to achieve each mission, one under a set time, one to not use slow-mo and another to only shoot bad guys and nothing else.

For each and completing you get a star, star's are spent on unlocking new weapons or weapon mods.

I'm taking it pretty slow, not using the slow-mo option so getting extra, bought a couple of pistol mods, the next is an increase in movement speed which may help with the mission times.
 
Yea ive never pressed slow mo since the first level, I was trying to get all 3 stars in a single game which is how I thought it worked but gets real hard come act 2, but i guess now you can cheat and use slow mo to achieve 100% aim if you wanted, after already getting the other two stars in a previous try. Grab movement speed early you are a sitting duck without it, I fully upgraded shotgun first but if you struggle I would suggest the AK don't waste points on the handgun, upgrade it later. Also note any gun you pick up will also have all the upgrades you have bought. Full upgraded double uzi's is devastatiing but you use all your bullets in seconds. Quality game, decent challenge, I finished one level with 77 tries!

I've just stuck with pistols, for some reason i end up using them a lot in any game, think I completed Fear using pistols all the way through.

Speed is my next upgrade. Done the first screen of missions, on the next screen now.
 
Fair enough, I loved the shotgun for the first two screens of missions trying to get 100% every level, but you get overwhelmed eventually and need some rapid power. Would recommend to any fans of the genre, I thought this would be like Ruiner which looked good but I ended up hating. This is second to Nex Machina for me.
