The how fast can you type on your phone and which keyboard do you use thread!

Type "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." and time how long it takes. I managed 9 seconds with Thumb Keyboard which is much better than what I could manage with stock Samsung keyboard, HTC_IME and Gungerbread's stock keyboard. The first suggested word prediction based on the previous word feature is a real bonus of Thumb keyboard I find.

I was considering putting this in the Essential apps thread but there are so many keyboards now I thought it deserved its own discussion away from there.

I used to have Swiftkey Beta back in the day, Thumb now though! Although tempted to try Swift again although it's not free and can't be properly tested in under 15 minutes!

8 seconds is impressive for Swype though!

What keyboards are you all using now?

I'm still cycling betwen Swiftkey 3 BETA, Google Voice Typing, native ICS keyboard and Swype.

Updated video, the real time voice typing is most impressive in ICS even though I've not used it as much as I could have yet.

Also notice the Swiftkey 3 BETA multiple joined word error correction kicking in on lazy dog part

I don't even look at the keyboard most of the time when typing as I rely on autocorrect and error detection by just hitting the relative position based on QWERTY so indeed, the B button may well get hit often but Swiftkey has learnt as has ICS keyboard I guess :d

ROM is HydrogenICS and phone is a Galaxy S2 btw.
