I've set up an OcUK league for all us PS3 players to have a go at as a Fifa 10 friends league:

League name: OcUK League
Abbreviated name: OcUK

Rules:

1) Max of 15 teams
2) You play each team twice
3) Most importantly, you can pick any club team of your choice (any star rating)

Chances are this league will fizzle out, but it will at least give us a chance to see what works and what doesn't and create a more permanent league after based on the success of this one.

shame - no internet till 26/10/09 for me so i'll have to gie it a miss.

Why are these leagues always 4 star though? Does 10 have an uber team 5 * team like mancs was in 09 ??

no idea, i cant play! Unless you're fine with me starting games around the 26th :D

Let everyone pick whatever team they like. 5* or 4.5 etc.

Not sure how may 5 star international teams there are. I suspect there are more 5 star club.

Personally because its the first league i think people should pick whatever team they like. But thats me :D Aint my league!

Coz basically you pick a team which you like playing as - you like the way they attack or pass etc. Its a bit of a bother learning a new team and figuring out that their main strength is playing long ball. So you have to adapt to the team style of play which you might not like.


Also if everyone picks whatever team they like then theres no excuses. You can have it Barca v Barca or whatever its still 2 different people playing each other. Comes down to the better player not the better team they get randomly assigned. (which imo it has sorta been in some cups)
 
Alright then, I will update the OP. Let's make it a free for all- any club team, any star rating! No pressure on time, let's just see it as a way for OcUKers to play each other and the results to be recorded.
 
Tempted but Ill wait til the online issues are patched - cant play online without being disconnected at least twice in a session at the moment...

patch was supposed to have been released the weekend there no? (cant check EA fifa forums from work)

I'm assuming it will be patched at least by the weekend - if not - then i'll have to pull out as online fifa is diabolical for me atm
 
I'm tempted, but what sort of time are you wanting to get this done in?

I would play but with college and work I have less and less time for FIFA in the week.
 
If you still need more players im defo up for this. I think im around level 15 online
