I'm returning my 7 to apple, having come from a 64gb s+ not only could I not get used to the smaller screen size, but also the thought in the back of my mind which kept telling me this feels exactly the same as the 6s!! Has anyone had any experience with returning products directly to the Apple Store? According to their website you have 14 days as long as it's within its original packaging and includes the original accessories but wasn't sure if any of you had any prior experiences?

So what do people think about the new haptic home button? I think it feels a little bit strange but it's not something that bothers me at all. I'm sure that I'll get used to it very quickly.

It's a fantastic idea and personally I've been hoping for this since the very first iPhone I owned. That home button was the very first thing to break... mute switch and volume buttons next please.

Yep, I've have returned iphones back to them within 14 days with no problem. They have a solid returns policy.

There were the odd few cropping up to reserve prior to release day, but very few and far between.

Talking of shortages, the woman serving me on release day had seen a total of 2x Jet Black handsets the whole day in the Southampton Apple Store!

Purely an OCD thing folks.

One thing I like about starting from scratch is having the default icon layout. What I didn't know is that in iOS 9 and up you can restore the default icon layout without having to reset your phone, there's an option in settings. I did this with my 7+ after restoring from iCloud and I'm very happy with the result!

Been checking every day at 6AM and none in London. Not sure how stock is so low for this.

There was 7 plus stock in London on the reserve page (only Gold/pink mainly, though I did see one 32gb in Black) everyday last week, and on Saturday (helped someone get a gold one).

In store they said the number was far less than last year, and a friend who managed to get one in JL Oxford Street on first day said oxford Street was the only store that were given "Pluses" and even then it was tiny compared to previous years.

I think part of it is to create hype/"sold out" headlines if I am being honest...
