Battery, not brilliant tbh, the plus should be better (waiting video tests), see the results table at the end to compare to other phones

I'm wary of tests like these, I guess its a way of standardised testing since everybodys usage is different but in the same breath theres so many variables that affect the outcome of this test. Simply cranking up the brightness does not mean the test was ran similar to other phones since they will have varying brightness levels.

I'm more interested in hearing peoples day to day opinions on battery, though again one persons experience may not be reflective of mine but still would be good to hear.

But will definitely watch the video and see how it fairs

This^, what I will say is I'm quite impressed with the battery life of my 7+, I took it off charge at about 7am, my battery is still at 69% with my usage of 3hrs 58mins and standby 12hrs 28 mins, main usage being internet using 4g signal 46%, phone calls 18%, skyGo 7% and poker 7% with everything else background usage. If it stays like this I will be over the moon.

Everyone always focus's on the resolution of iPhone screens.

The iPhone 7 matches or breaks new Smartphone display performance records for:
• The Highest Absolute Color Accuracy for any display (1.1 JNCD) – Visually Indistinguishable from Perfect
• The Highest Absolute Luminance Accuracy for any display (±2%) – Visually Indistinguishable from Perfect
• Very Accurate Image Contrast and Intensity Scale (with Gamma 2.21) – Visually Indistinguishable from Perfect
• The Highest Peak Brightness Smartphone for any Average Picture Level APL (602 to 705 nits)
• The Highest Contrast Ratio for any IPS LCD display (1,762)
• The Lowest Screen Reflectance for any Smartphone display (4.4 percent)
• The Highest Contrast Rating in High Ambient light for a Smartphone for any APL (137 to 160)
• The Smallest Color variation with Viewing Angle (2.1 JNCD or less)
See the Results Highlights section and Display Shoot-Out Comparison Table for all of the measurements and details.

What's the point in having a stupid fast phone - your not doing industrial scientific number crunching to watch video, browse net, text, snapchat & even play games - in a nut shell ;)

Linus said - how about getting the rest of the phone sorted instead of ever increasing an already insanely powerful CPU

*waits for linus doesn't know what he's talking about and is clearly an android fanboy response :D*

I'd imagine that the CPU development is separate to the development of the rest of the phone rather than instead of it. Given the focus on speed AND battery Apple should be applauded - the UI in the 7 is so fast and slick (even than my Pro) it's near perfect. It's just another example of Apple getting things right rather than blindly chasing tick list specs.
