You know how orthodox or hassidic Jews or whatever have those curl side burns. Do they grow like that naturally or do they do something to them to make them like that?

When I let my hair grow out my side burns get very curly but the rest of my hair is straight so i wonder if I might have some Jewish ancestry?

"They are called "peyot". There is a commandment for Jewish men not to cut the "corners of their beards".

Opinions differ as to where the "corners" are, and to what "cutting" entails.

"Peyot" is Hebrew for "corners". There are chassidic Jewish men who never cut them. As they grow, they get in the way, so they curl them behind their ears. This is why/how they get that curly look. Some will use sugar water on them to help keep them in place.

This is why many Jewish men have beards, too."

2 seconds of googling found that.

We all know the answer to the Jewish question; fancy a shower kwerk?

Thats a bit:eek: Thank G-d they are still around today or we wouldnt have things like google to go and look it up! ;)
