garage opener in the headlining is lame
if someone nicks your car, sees your documents in the glovebox, they can get into your house :p

plus it's not available in some countries.. although i'm guessin you can have it in the uk..
and you don't really need double glazing on an M5, it'll weigh it down ;)

Not if the garage is seperate.

It was an option and they come up on the bay every so often but they are way too expensive :(

i don't think it's really necessary though, as it advertises you're a **** ;)
a remote which is kept in the compartment between the front seats works fine :p

Instead of a SR20DET. I would pick a SR20VE from a JDM primera. Ive seen these engines produce 300BHP NA which is quite incredible (NEO VVL just kicked in YO!). Add some boost and build the engine up to a super touring specification and you got a quality motor. It couldn't go into a fwd P11 Primera though. I would have to source a JDM 4wd P10 to get all that power down. Saloon of course! Remove all the crap and you have a 4wd, 900 kg, 400bhp rocket ship :)

Your challenge for the day if you choose to accept, is to spec up a 400hp motor! 300hp is easy with a hot American V8, mad Cossie or a Jap rocket with some goodies but 400hp is a little harder to come by. What can we come up with...

Blowers, turbos, rice burning etc are all valid but lets stay off the laughing gas and bonus points for n/a motors, reliability and the more detail the better :D

Been there, done that :p ;)

Probably an E39 touring converted with full M5 running gear + dinan S2 supercharger. Brembo LM brake kit,BBS LMs and a set of eibacks or something similar. Should be pretty fun.

This has an LS7 :D

Nice spec Andi ;)

Did you mean 321H though ? from what I've read it would be pushing it to get to 400 and the 321T one like mine is probably a better match for a 2.5 and get comfortably into the 400's.

On a new age would also say that the 740 injectors/fmic and simtek ecu whilst being very nice are only really necessary for going 450+ and for 400's you could manage on the Sti top mount, 650's and ecutek remap..
