Executive producer Michael bay. :p

Starts 23rd of June.

Looks like a high budget action packed series. Just hope the acting and story can live up to the explosions and the rest of it.

plot: The crew of a naval destroyer is forced to confront the reality of a new existence when a pandemic kills off most of the earth's population.

Unless the virus eats ships this is not the last ship :D

Ummm. I dunno. I'll give it a go but the fact it's high budget will mean cancellation quicker than something very quick if it's ratings are not high.

It "feels" a bit like Last Resort but I'll probably watch the first episode just to see the lovely Rhona :D

First episode was ok i thought. I am not sure on that female lead and some of the scenes the acting was poor. I will definitely continue watching it as it has a lot of potential and an interesting story. A global pandemic, its everything that helix should have been.

I do like watching the ship in action though, great stuff with the close up of the guns.

Pretty decent and action packed first episode. Helps immensely that they have the US Military on board to allow filming aboard a real Guided Missile Destroyer, albeit one with a false name, and to supply the hardware, i.e. the Black Hawks and the CH53s.

Had to feel the love when they switched to the 5" gun to take down the last chopper. Not many shows actually acknowledge the the fact the main deck gun on a modern destroyer is capable of engaging, and destroying, air targets.

Oh yeah, it features Rhona Mitra. She is top tier totty!
