I'm just reading the news that Nick Kamen has died at aged 59.

I remember him in the 80s iconic advert for Levi jeans, which I'm sure was a favourite with the ladies. I'll post a video of it below.

For those of us old enough this advert had a massive impact on jeans, Nick Kamen's career and boxor shorts.

It was a hell of an advert that really launched Levi as a brand in the UK.

Button fly, boxers and 501's.
 
Remember the ad well (Coke had another add set in a laundrette but not sure how long after this one it was) but he had a No1 with "Each time you break my heart" which was written by Madonna as well.

Said on the BBC page he had a long standing illness but 59 isn't a huge age at all
 
His brother Barry (model, stylist and artist) died a few years back at 52. No age to go for the both of them.
