In a few weeks I'm going to buying a 48" oled tv for the living room. Yes not the biggest tv by todays standards but it's big enough for my needs and I think massive tv in the living room just make the room a tv room and not a living room.
I've been looking at the LG C3 range but if any of you think there is something better? Budget is £1000 but obvious if I can spend less that would be better as price doesn't always equate to the best quality and buy.

I was in the same position last year when choosing a new haunted fishtank.

Bought a Samsung, hated it, swapped it out for a LG C2 and it's been a good time ever since.

Don't forget when you watch 2:35 movies that 48" is no longer 48"

Just thinking. Is it even worth paying £1000 for a tv when all it will be used for is freeview?

Probably not. Freeview is broadcast in 1080p SDR.

You don't watch Netflix or play video games?

It’s a great TV. Surely you watch YouTube or other streaming services?

Sure I play video games but I have the PC for that. Nope I don't bother with streaming services as I've got a wooden leg and a parrot.
