Thought I would post a link to this superb piece of gaming "fan-fiction". Essentially it's an account of one guy's "dead is dead" campaign in X3 Terran Conflict. For me puts a whole new light on a game I play anyway and required reading for anyone who thinks "X" is boring or hard to get into.
It spans some 67 pages (though there are links to a text version that edits out the audience comments) and is very well written, loads of humour (especially the bit about throwing the pin and not the grenade...which had me in stitches...at work
).
Certainly made me think how I approach the game, obviously "dead is dead" is not for everyone but the approach of RSLG (you'll have to read the story to see what the acronym means) is one I've used myself in COD before now.
