The little things

I'm a big fan of built in satnav systems, absolutely loath having to use some stupid suction nonsense to mount things to the windscreen. Even a 20 year old cd based system that takes up half the glovebox is preferable for me.
Android Auto/Carplay has had that issue resolved for the past decade though. Best of both worlds.

It would, if i ever bought a car that young
Honestly it would be way up there on my "new to me" car checklist if a car I bought didn't already have it. Loads of good aftermarket options that fit seamlessly in pretty much any car and even the cheap Ali Express specials are decent enough.

Adaptive headlights, makes the vision on them dark corners so much better. Also heated steering wheel and seats are pretty much a must.

Hired a Subaru in Australia that had adaptive cruise, which was pretty nice to use on motorways, but the main thing was it's speed limiter. Turn it on and it used the speed signs to automatically change the limiter. Worked really well and never missed a sign, which was great to use in an area that i'd never driven before.

Used to hate it, but modern systems lane assit id actually wonderful. Along with adjustable speed.

Both improved so much, I forget they exist in traffic.
