That MacBook looks cool and all but I'm happy with mine as it is, especially if they're gonna down spec it for looks (unless they're making it to compete with EEE PC pricing? (Dreaming on)
No matter what new kit comes out this conference, I'm not going to buy anything. Maybe the odd woo and ahh and adding it to my Wanted List but I really need to start saving up for the next MacBook Pro revamp, it's been years! since it's changed in terms of looks...
They'd be able to get away with that using carbon fibre wouldn't they, like in some of the high-end Vaios? Do away with the internal optical drive and it should suit that kind of design.
I've held off buying an iPhone, either waiting for a price drop or a spec bump...However, I think its going to be a long 6 month wait for approval....grr
As for Apple TV, I'm not that knowledgable, but I think its a great idea and to be honest, since I switched I can't get enough of apple products!
You can always avoid coming to the forum and just visit Engadget's spoiler free site around 6 or 7pm, watch the video / read the transcript then? I'll probably do that instead of sitting down at 5pm reading bits of information coming in every 30 seconds... I want to watch the show~
I'm waiting till today passes and then I'll decide if I'm getting my iPhone. 8 > 16GB would be awesome.
The thin MacBook thing... as tempting as it would be to run out and buy one I'd have serious questions about build quality/practicality and heat dissipation. I'd definitely wait a few months to give chance for anything ugly to rear its head.
