For me the movie that gets me everytime and why I won't watch it anymore is ET, damn Elliot pulls at your heart string doesn't he.

The first movie I'd ever seen at the Cinema was Bambi, but I was only 5 so I don't remember it much.

I've watched Gladiator about 4 times, and by the end i'm nearly bubbling away to myself lol

The little girl in the red coat in Schindler's List.

In a similar vein, the end of Life is Beautiful. Amazing film that I didn't expect to end the way it did.

ooof, had forgot all about that. definite 'i got something in my eye' moment
Band of Brothers, that camp...
the very end always got me more, where they recite what happened to them all after the war.

my sisters keeper......never ever watch that film. all semblance of 'manliness' will be gone long before the end.

Including those where I cried at a child:

Beethoven (“doggy killer!!!”)
The Lion King (“get up dad” etc)
Armageddon (!)
Titanic (children being read stories in bed)
What Dreams May Come (gruelling, although not seen since release so may not be as sad as an adult)
Forrest Gump (“he’s so smart Jenny”)
Marley and Me (even watching this amongst mates after a night out hungover we were all pretty tearful - brutal)

Other upsetting films:

The Neverending Story (horse in the swamp)

The Elephant Man. One the saddest endings, plus the tea with Reeves and his wife scene halfway through. And generally, whenever I'm watching a film and I hear the first few chords of Adagio for Strings, I'm like "uh-oh"
