New show started started last night. I'm not sure what i make of it yet as there were a couple of casting errors in my mind already, the guy playing the devil and the girl from One Tree Hill in the Jodie Foster Contact type part. It's getting hammered on IMDb for 'more religious nonsense' but i like fantasy no matter what it's roots are so will be giving it a fair shot.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3513704/

A mysterious object crashes on earth and a group of unconnected strangers die from an energy pulse it emits, but then re-awaken to find out that they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending Apocalypse.

Just watched the first episode and I shall reserve judgement. Seems to me it's made to pander to the religious element in America.

It's just the tone in the pilot and with how many very religious people America has I expect they area demographic stations could aim programs at. I may be wrong and I'll watch a few more to see how it goes.

watched the 2nd episode will give it bit more watching, its very easy to give up on tv shows after the first few.

But yeah with messengers and the whole angels thing we have had quite a few too many shows already go down that path recently, supernatural and Constantine and that other show on scifi channel with angels flying about

Going after the 4 horsemen thing..... will see how that pans out reminds me of next years Xmen film to be :)

No surprise as it, in my opinion, was terrible. I've seen the first 3 episodes and will not be watching any more even if they are screened.

wow surprised felt like show had just started but I did say how many shows with angels do we need :)

I liked the idea of it but the acting is really spotty, some really bad lines and the whole thing seems like it's moving too fast. Can't say i'll miss it.
